Henderson's FIRST robotics team, the "Robo Tigers" competed this past weekend at Centreville HS. After five matches, the MEH Robo Tigers placed third out of 26 teams, almost entirely from area high schools.
The Robo Tigers also won an innovation award from Collins Aerospace, part of the criteria states, "The Collins Aerospace Innovate Award celebrates a team that thinks outside the box and has the ingenuity, creativity, and inventiveness to make their designs come to life."
The result is even more impressive because this was the team's first year. Congratulations! From left Daniel Draper, Elena Clark-Wilson, Anand Colby, Ashwin Colby, and Mya Taheri.
